PATTAYA, Thailand – On August 20th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., Pattaya City Mayor Poramese Ngamphichet accepted the donation of two dialysis machines valued at a total of 1,060,000 baht from the Intana family. The gift was made in support of medical equipment for Pattaya City Hospital, for enhancing treatment capabilities and improving the quality of life for local residents.
The donation was presented to mark the 81st birthday of Mrs. Ratchani Intana. Deputy Mayor Manoch Nongyai, Advisor Phumiphiphat Kamolnat, the mayor’s secretarial team, and other staff members attended as witnesses and joined in offering birthday wishes to Mrs. Ratchani. Also present to receive the machines were the director of the Office of Public Health and Environment, the director of Pattaya City Hospital, and medical and nursing staff. The handover took place at the hospital’s Dialysis Center.
During the occasion, Mayor Poramese toured the hospital and Dialysis Center operations. He spoke with staff and patients, offering encouragement in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Dialysis Center at Pattaya City Hospital currently provides services in three sessions per day across 16 beds. Each patient requires approximately four hours per dialysis session. Demand has grown significantly, exceeding the facility’s capacity. The addition of the two new machines is expected to expand access to timely treatment for kidney patients and further strengthen public health services for the people of Pattaya.
