CHON BURI – On August 19th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., the Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality Council in Chon Buri Province convened its third ordinary session of the year in the municipal council meeting room. Council President Mr. Songwut Prakobtham chaired the session.
Attendees included Mayor Mr. Mitchai Prakobtham, Municipal Clerk Mr. Narongrit Prasitthinak, Deputy Mayor Mr. Wachira Sujero, Secretary to the Mayor Mr. Sawet Charoenklang, municipal council members, the deputy municipal clerk, department heads, and municipal staff, all present in full.
The meeting’s key agenda items focused on consideration of the draft municipal ordinance on the annual expenditure budget for fiscal year 2027 (B.E. 2570) in the second reading (amendment stage) and third reading (final vote).
The draft budget sets a total expenditure framework of 265 million baht for Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality. It covers general administration, community and social services, education, public health, internal security and order, community development, religion, culture and recreation, economic affairs, infrastructure and public works, as well as central funds.
After deliberation in the second and third readings, the council unanimously approved the draft municipal ordinance on the annual expenditure budget for fiscal year 2027 in the amount of 265 million baht. The approved budget will serve as the framework for municipal administration and area development in the coming fiscal year.
The meeting also considered motions seeking approval to transfer funds from the fiscal year 2026 expenditure budget to establish new items. These included allocations under the categories of durable goods, land and construction, as well as specific items for the Office of the Municipal Clerk, the Administrative Division, and the Education Division.
In addition, officials reported to the council on the results of the 2026 assessment of minimum standards for public service delivery by the Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality. Matters related to the management of municipal property and assets were also reviewed.
The preparation of the fiscal year 2027 expenditure budget is to enable Takian Tia Subdistrict Municipality to administer its affairs efficiently, respond to residents’ needs, and drive comprehensive local development for the benefit of the public in all areas.
