Pattaya, 13th of August 2026 – Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramese Ngamphichet joined the monthly meeting of the Pattaya City Business and Tourism Association for August 2026. The meeting was chaired by Association President Miss Chutima Jiramongkol and held at the Sabai Chabana Hotel. Attendees included Pattaya City executives, assistant secretaries to the mayor and city council chairman, heads of government agencies, the association’s committee members, and association members. A networking session was also held.
Before the formal meeting began, committee members and association members congratulated Mayor Poramese Ngamphichet on his recent reappointment for a second term as mayor. Participants exchanged views and strengthened networks of cooperation between the public and private sectors.
AIS then presented digital technologies to support businesses and tourism under the topic “Empowering Pattaya Tourism with Digital Technology.” The presentation focused on using digital tools to improve business operations and enhance the competitiveness of local operators.
During the meeting agenda, information on social security was provided, including details on how to register to elect Social Security Committee members via the website and application around the clock. Updates were also shared on participation in ITB Asia 2026, a leading Asian tourism trade fair and business networking event scheduled for 21–23 October 2026 in Singapore.
The meeting reviewed the results of Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) 2026, also known as TTM Pattaya 2026, held from 10–12 June 2026 at the Nong Nooch International Convention and Exhibition Center in Pattaya. Outcomes from the recent Thai Festival in Moscow 2026 were also summarized.
On behalf of Pattaya City, Deputy Mayor Mr. Damrongkiat Phinitkan announced upcoming events. These include the Pattaya International Film Festival 2026 from 22–30 August 2026; the 23rd Pattaya Cup Sepak Takraw Championship 2026, scheduled for 20–23 August 2026 at Pattaya City School 7 and 29–30 August 2026 on Jomtien Beach; the charity run “Run for Koh Larn Kids” on 5 September 2026; and “LOMA Run on the Beach,” the annual charity walk-and-run event on Jomtien Beach on Sunday, 20 September 2026. The Pattaya City Business and Tourism Association, Chonburi, also promoted its annual activities, including Chonburi Coffee on the Beach 2026, Pattaya Sand and Art Festival 2026, Pattaya SEA Through Blue Carbon Music Fest 2026, Pattaya Car on the Beach 2026, and the Pattaya Squid Fair. Members and operators were invited to help publicize and participate in these events.
The meeting shows ongoing cooperation between Pattaya City, the Business and Tourism Association, and the private sector in exchanging information, building networks, and applying technology to elevate the tourism sector. Participants also worked together to advance various activities that create a positive tourism atmosphere, stimulate spending, and drive the local economy.
