CHONBURI
Pattaya City recently emerged as champions of the Chonburi Cup after delivering a strong performance in the Chonburi Provincial People’s and Senior Football Competition 2026.
The closing ceremony took place at the stadium of the National Sports University, Chonburi Campus. Dr. Pansak Ketwattha, Deputy Chief Executive of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, presided over the event on behalf of Mr. Wittaya Khunpluem, Chief Executive of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization.
The competition was organized to encourage people of all ages to exercise, make productive use of their free time, build stronger physical health, and develop unity and friendship within communities.
Pattaya City’s team, managed by Mr. Wutthithorn Saengurai, a Pattaya City Council member, claimed the Chonburi Cup title. The squad will now represent Chonburi Province at the National Games in Samut Sakhon.
Dr. Pansak congratulated all participating teams and expressed appreciation to every sector that helped make the event a success. He noted that sports not only improve physical fitness but also cultivate sportsmanship and strengthen interpersonal relationships.
The closing ceremony was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with athletes and officials congratulating the award-winning teams, bringing the 2026 competition to a memorable close.
