Pattaya’s New Administration Officially Begins Second Term with Unity Pledge and Ambitious “3 Goals, 33 Policies”

PATTAYA — Mayor Poramese Ngamphichet, known by his nickname of Beer, led the newly elected city executive team this morning, Monday, July 20th, 2026, in a traditional blessing ceremony at Pattaya City Hall before formally assuming office for his second term and unveiling an ambitious roadmap for the city.

At 6:49 a.m., Mayor Beer, accompanied by city executives and Pattaya City Council members, paid respects to the sacred shrine at City Hall to seek blessings for a successful term. The group then attended the official certification of election results and signed task assignment documents in the Tapphraya Meeting Room.

Later in the morning, the mayor is scheduled to sign orders appointing deputy mayors, the mayor’s secretary, and advisors to ensure smooth and efficient governance in the new term.

In the afternoon, the new executive team will be formally introduced to the public and city officials, followed by the announcement of the administration’s policy framework: “3 Goals, 33 Policies.” The mayor will also issue directives to department heads to align all operations with this new vision.

The policy rollout focuses on three core objectives: elevating residents’ quality of life, advancing comprehensive city development, and continuously strengthening Pattaya’s economic and tourism potential on the global stage.

The move comes alongside a strong message of unity released by the team earlier. In a heartfelt statement titled “Thank You from the Heart to All Fellow Citizens,” the administration declared:

“There is no ‘them,’ there is no ‘us.’ There is only “the people of Pattaya”. Whether you gave us your vote or not, we humbly accept every point of trust, every opinion, and every encouragement. After the election, there are no longer separate sides, only Pattaya people whom we must care for together.”

The team pledged to govern with honesty, transparency, and full dedication, wanting to transform Pattaya into a world-class tourist destination with international-standard living conditions.

The statement concluded with the new term’s slogan: “Pattaya Version 2 – BETTER PATTAYA V.2”

Mayor Beer’s second term now officially begins with both symbolic tradition and a clear forward-looking agenda, as the city seeks to build on its strengths while ensuring inclusive progress for all residents.
