Pattaya Declares “Ready to Go” for Major Tourism Push with Pattaya Travel Mart & MICE 2026

PATTAYA, Thailand– On July 16th 2026, at The Zign Hotel Pattaya in Chonburi Province, the Chonburi Tourism Association, along with the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, Pattaya City, the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), and tourism industry partners, officially launched the Pattaya Travel Mart & MICE 2026 under the theme “Ready to Go.”

The event is to strengthen the tourism and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sectors in Pattaya and Chonburi, build business opportunities, and position the region as a leading international tourism and MICE hub. Mr. Wittaya Khunpluem, President of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, led the opening ceremony, joined by senior officials from government agencies and the private sector, the President of the Thai Hotels Association (Eastern Chapter), TCEB representatives, inbound and domestic tour operators, tourism entrepreneurs, and network partners.

In his opening address, Mr. Wittaya Khunpluem explained Pattaya and Chonburi’s status as premier destinations for both leisure tourism and business events in Thailand. “The city and province have significant potential to host tourists and investors from around the world,” he said. “This event serves as a vital platform for building business networks, connecting operators, and enhancing Thailand’s global competitiveness in the tourism and MICE industries.”

The Pattaya Travel Mart & MICE 2026 is designed to create direct business opportunities through Business Matching sessions. Local tourism operators will present up-to-date information on attractions, accommodations, and facilities to both international (inbound) and domestic tour companies, wanting to build confidence and reinforce Pattaya and Chonburi’s position as must-visit destinations for Thai and foreign travelers alike.

Features of the event include presentations on the region’s tourism and MICE capabilities, networking opportunities among business owners, marketing information exchanges, and updates on the latest tourism trends. Participants will gain comprehensive insights to develop attractive tour programs and promotional campaigns for their clients.
