Sriracha Hospital Hosts 29th Annual Academic Conference and Quality Fair, Embracing AI for Next-Gen Healthcare

Sriracha, Thailand– Somdej Phra Boromarajadevi Na Sriracha Hospital successfully launched its 29th Annual Academic Conference and Hospital Quality Fair for 2026 on Thursday, under the theme “Surpassing the Limits of Modern Medicine: Integrating AI Power for Excellence in Quality and Service.”

The event took place at the Sutatsana-Anna Setthadeva Prasit Meeting Room on the 5th floor of the hospital’s 100th Anniversary Memorial Building. Associate Professor Dr. Sophon Naphathorn, Assistant Secretary-General of the Thai Red Cross Society and Director of Somdej Phra Boromarajadevi Na Sriracha Hospital, led the opening ceremony.

In his opening address, Dr. Sophon talked about the rapid transformation of global healthcare driven by artificial intelligence (AI), precision medicine, and digital technologies. He believes that healthcare organizations and medical professionals must move beyond traditional boundaries by integrating these advanced tools with a strong quality culture to deliver more efficient, safer, and world-class patient care.

“Advancing into the era of Next-Gen Healthcare is not just about adopting the latest tools and technologies,” Dr. Sophon said. “It is fundamentally about people, skilled professionals with innovative mindsets, supported by an organizational culture committed to continuous improvement.”

The conference was organized with three main objectives:

1. To enhance the knowledge and skills of hospital personnel in applying AI and precision medicine to elevate the quality and safety of patient care.
2. To provide a platform for presenting and exchanging research findings, innovations, and quality improvement projects.
3. To build networks among medical professionals, researchers, and innovation developers, both inside and outside the hospital, to collectively advance Thailand’s healthcare system toward excellence.

The multi-day event combines academic sessions, workshops, and a quality fair showcasing the hospital’s latest initiatives in medical innovation and service improvement.
