CHONBURI, Thailand— Khao Kheow Open Zoo has opened pre-orders for a special collector’s item featuring the tail print of its beloved pygmy hippopotamus Moo Deng, in honor of her upcoming second birthday.
Mr. Narongwit Chodchoi, Director of Khao Kheow Open Zoo, announced the release of the exclusive “Moo Deng Tail Print” (Moo Deng Tail Print) keepsake set. The limited-edition item commemorates Moo Deng’s second birthday on July 10th, 2026, and allows fans worldwide to own a unique memento of the internet-famous pygmy hippo.

Only 999 pieces will be produced globally. Each set is priced at 1,999 THB. The final piece, bearing the special number 999, will be offered via auction, with proceeds supporting the zoo’s animal care and conservation efforts.
Pre-orders are available starting today and will run until July 15th, 2026, or until stock is sold out. Interested buyers can place orders by messaging the “Khao Kheow Open Zoo” Facebook page.

Moo Deng rose to global fame as a baby pygmy hippo with her playful personality and viral videos, becoming a beloved symbol of the zoo. The tail print item comes in a premium 11×11-inch frame, suitable for display on a desk or wall.
