At 9:00 AM yesterday, Mr. Kiattisak Sriwongchai, Pattaya City Clerk and Acting Mayor, assigned Mr. Siwach Boonkert and Mr. Theerasak Jatupong, Deputy City Clerks, to attend the opening ceremony of the Integrated Cooperation Project for Managing the Election of Local Council Members and Administrators (Pattaya City Council and Mayor Election).
The event was led by Mr. Pongsathit Pichanan, Deputy Governor of Chonburi Province. Also in attendance were Police Lieutenant Colonel Chanin Noi Lek, Deputy Secretary-General of the Election Commission of Thailand; Ms. Manatsanan Witthana, Director of the Provincial Election Commission Office in Chonburi; members of the Pattaya City Election Commission; and provincial election inspectors.
Approximately 100 participants joined the session at the Thapphraya Meeting Room, Pattaya City Hall, including candidates for Pattaya City Council and Mayor, their supporters, and other relevant parties.

The Provincial Election Commission Office in Chonburi organized the training to provide knowledge on harmonious local elections. The session covered key topics including election procedures and processes, candidate qualifications, prohibitions, penalties, and precautions regarding campaign advertising. Police Lieutenant Colonel Chanin Noi Lek delivered a presentation on these matters, along with guidelines for posting official election announcements and signs, as well as regulations on campaign expenditure, income, and expense reporting. Trainers from the Chonburi Provincial Election Commission Office led the program.
The objective of the training is to ensure candidates and all involved parties have a clear and accurate understanding of election laws, regulations, and procedures. It is to build acceptance of electoral outcomes, knowing how to win gracefully, lose with dignity, and forgive, while promoting unity, good conscience, and respect for rules among candidates, campaign workers, supporters, and eligible voters.

By encouraging adherence to laws and building harmony, this seeks to minimize disputes and complaints, ensuring the election proceeds smoothly, honestly, fairly, and in full compliance with the law for the benefit of all Pattaya residents.
