Over 20 Pakistani Men Involved in Large Group Fight on Pattaya Beach After Social Media Dispute, Two Men Injured

Pattaya, June 5th, 2026– A group of approximately 20 Pakistani men turned a social media dispute into a violent physical clash on Pattaya Beach early this morning, leaving two men injured and causing panic among bystanders, leaving tourists to flee in terror as Pattaya police responded.

At around 1:06 a.m. on June 5th, Pol Lt Col Chewalit Suwannamani, Deputy Inspector of Pattaya City Police Station, received a report of a fight with injuries on the beach near the police station. Officers along with rescue volunteers rushed to the scene.

Video footage recorded by other tourists showed the group of Pakistani men standing on the beach arguing heatedly before the confrontation escalated into a chaotic brawl. The men reportedly attacked each other with fists, a hard blunt object, and a sharp weapon, creating a scene of panic among nearby tourists and beachgoers.

Police quickly intervened to break up the fight. Two men were injured and required medical attention. One victim suffered a head injury after being struck with a hard object, believed to be a knuckle duster. The second victim sustained a cut to his hand from a sharp object. Rescue personnel provided initial first aid before transporting both men to a local hospital.

One of the injured men told police that the incident stemmed from an online argument. He claimed the group had been insulting and challenging each other on a social media application, leading them to arrange a meeting at Pattaya Beach to “settle” the issue. What began as a planned confrontation quickly spiraled out of control into a full-scale fight.

Authorities are investigating the full circumstances, including the identities of all involved parties, if they are actual tourists or long stay residents, and the exact origin of the social media dispute. No arrests have been reported so far as the investigation continues.
