In his opening address, Deputy Mayor Wachira Suecho described current economic challenges, including rising living costs that affect residents’ daily lives. He stated that the project is to equip participants with practical vocational skills by learning from successful model communities and occupational groups. The knowledge gained will be adapted to develop local careers, generate sustainable income, and strengthen the community in the long term.

The program featured team-building activities under the theme “Breaking Barriers, Building Occupational Networks in the Community” to develop familiarity, exchange experiences, and create group networks. Additional sessions on “Enhancing Teamwork and Efficient Collaboration,” led by expert facilitators, focused on promoting unity and effective group work among participants.

The three-day project runs from May 27 to 29, 2026. On May 28 and 29, participants will travel to Samut Songkhram Province for study visits to observe successful occupational groups and model communities. The insights gained will be applied to strengthen local capacity and build a more resilient Takhian Tia community.
