The Director of the Pattaya City Election Commission has officially announced the election for new members of the Pattaya City Council following the completion of the current council’s term.
According to the announcement, the term of prior Pattaya City Council members officially ended on May 21st, 2026. The Election Commission has approved the election management plan, setting Sunday, June 28th, 2026 as Election Day.
Candidate registration will take place from May 28 to June 1, 2026.
The announcement was made under the authority of Section 12 of the Organic Act on the Election of Local Council Members and Local Administrators B.E. 2562 (as amended), along with relevant regulations of the Election Commission. It has received approval from the Provincial Election Director of Chonburi Province.

Eligible residents are encouraged to exercise their voting rights in the upcoming election to shape the future development of Pattaya. This includes the election for city mayor.
For those unable to vote, this weekend per Thai law will have a 24 hour ban on alcohol sales from the evening of Saturday, June 27th, until polls close on June 28th.
