Phanat Nikhom, Chonburi– On May 22nd, 2026, officers from Phanat Nikhom Police Station, in coordination with local administrative officials, arrested a man operating an online methamphetamine distribution network that shipped drugs across multiple provinces in Thailand.
The primary suspect, Mr. Jiraphat, also known as “Te”, was detained as he exited a condominium in Tambon Na Matum, carrying a parcel. Inside the box, police discovered methamphetamine (commonly known as “Ice”) concealed within a pair of cheap jeans. A search of his condominium room uncovered an additional 126.9 grams of Ice, also hidden in jeans, prepared for shipment to customers in provinces including Nan, Trang, and Bueng Kan.
According to the investigation, Jiraphat sold the drugs through the social media network “X”. He received customer orders and handled the packaging and shipping of the narcotics via standard parcel delivery services.
During questioning, Jiraphat admitted that he sourced the methamphetamine from a transgender woman known as “Bell” in Bangkok. He also implicated two accomplices in the packaging operation: Mr. Chinchoti, also known as “Oat”, and Ms. Siraprapa, also known as “Jane”. Police later arrested both suspects at their residence and seized additional quantities of Ice.
In a follow-up operation on the same day, authorities conducted a controlled delivery, leading to the arrest of another suspect, Mr. Porntawi, who was delivering 100 grams of Ice on behalf of Bell.
Total seizures included:
– 275.5 grams of methamphetamine (Ice)
– Assets and cash valued at approximately 295,000 Baht
All suspects have been charged with drug-related offenses and were transferred to Phanat Nikhom Police Station for further legal proceedings. Police stated they are continuing to expand the investigation to identify additional members of the network.
