Pattaya, May 20th, 2026 – Pattaya City Police were dispatched late Wednesday night after a disabled man, heavily intoxicated with alcohol, accidentally entered the wrong residence in a local village and locked the gate, causing panic for the lone homeowner.
At approximately 10:00 PM on May 20th, 2026, officers from Pattaya City Police Station received a report of an unknown man breaking into a house in Soi Penyat Chang 7. The incident created significant alarm for the property owner, causing police to coordinate with patrol units and volunteers from the Sawang Boriboon Pattaya Rescue Foundation for an urgent response.
Upon arrival at the two-story home located within a village compound, officers found a man in a heavily intoxicated state lying in front of the entrance. He was incoherent and speaking unintelligibly. The individual was later identified as Mr. Twichai Fipakpor approximately 30-40 years old. He has a physical disability that makes walking difficult.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man had mistakenly entered the wrong house while under the influence of alcohol. A search of his person found no weapons or illegal items, and there was no damage to any property inside the residence.
The homeowner, who was alone at the time, told police she heard someone attempting to open the outer gate. She then saw the man enter the property, lock the gate behind him, and collapse in front of the entrance. Fearing for her safety, she immediately called the police for assistance.
“I was very scared,” the homeowner said. “I’m thankful to the police and rescue volunteers for responding so quickly.”
Rescue workers assisted the man to calm down before contacting his relatives to collect him and ensure he returned home safely. The homeowner expressed relief once the situation was resolved, as did other residents in the area and has reportedly agreed not to press charges.
No charges were reported in the incident, which authorities described as a case of mistaken entry due to intoxication.
