Pattaya, Thailand – Ms. Amporn Kaewsaeng, President of the Pattaya City Council Committee, on Saturday opened a large “merit-making” food distribution station in front of The Stones House on South Pattaya Walking Street, providing thousands of free meals and drinks to locals and tourists in celebration of her birthday.
Joined by fellow council members, business operators, and community leaders, Ms. Amporn and her team distributed a wide variety of Thai dishes including fermented rice noodles with wild curry (khanom jeen nam ya pa), green chicken curry, spicy papaya salad (som tum), rice boxes, noodles, fresh fruit, beverages, ice cream, and snacks. This was to ease the daily cost-of-living burden for residents, Walking Street workers, and visitors.

The event brought together prominent figures from Pattaya’s nightlife and business community, including:
– Ms. Lisa Hamilton, President of the Pattaya Nightlife Business Operators Association
– Mr. Sukhraj Kalra, Chairman of the Walking Street Community
– Ms. Wannapen Topanich, owner of Mum Aroi restaurant
– Mr. Amporn Saengkaew, President of the Pattaya Journalists Association
along with other business leaders, honored guests, and members of the media. Attendees presented Ms. Amporn with gift baskets and birthday congratulations in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

In addition to the food distribution, participants collected donations during the event to support the further construction of Pattaya Pathumkun Hospital. The funds will contribute to improving public healthcare infrastructure in the city.
Hundreds of residents and tourists formed long queues to receive the free meals and items, creating a continuous stream of grateful smiles and a strong sense of community goodwill between donors and recipients.

Happy Birthday!
