Pattaya City Earns Top Marks for Transparency with Third Consecutive “Excellent Pass” in Assessment

Pattaya, Thailand – Pattaya City has once again demonstrated outstanding performance in governance, securing the highest “Excellent Pass” rating in the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) conducted by Thailand’s Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) for the third consecutive year.

In the latest 2025 evaluation, Pattaya achieved an impressive score of 99.41 points, matching its outstanding result from 2024. In 2023, the city was also honored with the prestigious ITA Awards, showing its consistent commitment to transparent and accountable administration.

The ITA evaluation serves as a key mechanism to develop an organizational culture rooted in honesty, integrity, transparency, and auditability. It enables government agencies to identify strengths, address areas for improvement, enhance management efficiency, and minimize corruption risks.

Beyond domestic benefits, strong ITA performance contributes significantly to elevating Thailand’s international image, particularly in the Corruption Perceptions Index. High scores help strengthen public and investor confidence in the country’s governance standards.

To build on this success, Pattaya City organized a training session designed at enhancing staff understanding of ITA operational guidelines, data collection, and reporting procedures. The event also provided a platform for departments to exchange views, resolve challenges, and overcome obstacles in their work processes.

The initiative seeks to promote integrated efforts across all sectors, raise standards in public administration, and encourage ethics, transparency, and business owner participation. Ultimately, these efforts want to position Pattaya as a model organization in good governance while building lasting trust among citizens.
