Pattaya Mourns the Loss of Shop Owner Allegedly Murdered by Drunken Pattaya Police Officer on Walking Street During Songkran in Emotional Farewell Ceremony

Pattaya, Thailand– The city of Pattaya was filled with sorrow today as family members, relatives, and close friends gathered to pay their final respects to “Kings Phattharan” during his cremation ceremony, following his death during the final day of Songkran last weekend in which allegedly a senior police investigator, who was heavily drunk after celebrating Songkran all day, shot and killed the popular shop owner when Kings tried to intervene and calm down the officer during an argument with others.

The atmosphere at the funeral rite was heavy with grief, as loved ones bid an emotional last goodbye to the deceased. The Pattaya City Police Station Chief, along with senior officials and other involved parties, attended the ceremony to offer their condolences and support to the grieving family. The police chief has promised to hold the suspect to the fullest extent of Thai law, who remains in custody facing multiple charges including murder.It was a day marked by love, deep mourning, and heartfelt farewells from those closest to him.Rest in peace.
