Banglamung, Chonburi – April 17th, 2026 — The Banglamung District Red Cross Chapter, together with district government officials, staff, and employees, held a traditional Songkran water-pouring (rod nam dam hua) ceremony to pay respect and seek blessings from Mr. Anusak Piriyomron, District Chief of Banglamung.
The event took place at the Community Hall of the Banglamung District Office. Participants poured scented water over the hands of the district chief and other senior figures while presenting fresh flower garlands as a sign of respect, in line with longstanding Thai customs to show reverence to elders and superiors during the Thai New Year festival.The ceremony was not only to uphold Thai traditions but also to strengthen good relationships, unity, and harmony among colleagues. Organizers believe such activities build better teamwork, leading to more efficient and effective performance in serving the public and achieving district goals. Mr. Anusak expressed great pleasure and appreciation for the gesture.
Senior police officers joined the event, including Pol. Col. Anek Sarathongyu, Superintendent of Pattaya City Police Station, and Pol. Col. Natthaphon Phongsooksakul, Superintendent of Nong Prue Police Station.To add to the festive atmosphere, a retro-style “ram wong” (traditional circle dance) performance was staged. Mr. Anusak then delivered a New Year’s address and words of encouragement to his staff. He thanked all personnel for their dedicated teamwork throughout the year and apologized for any unintended offenses or words that may have caused dissatisfaction, showing his role as a leader.
He urged everyone to continue working with dedication, love, and unity for the benefit of Banglamung district, while enhancing the organization’s positive image as a reliable pillar for local residents.
