Pattaya City Mayor Poramese Ngampichet (also known as Beer), along with city executives and members of Pattaya City Council District 3, visited Koh Larn (also known as Coral Island) to monitor the ongoing construction and improvement of the Na Ban Pier (Koh Larn Front Pier).
The inspection took place at 2:00 PM on April 10th. Representatives from the contracting company joined the site visit to provide detailed updates on the project’s advancement.
The Koh Larn Na Ban Pier Improvement Project is a team effort between Pattaya City and the Marine Department. The Marine Department has contracted Bangsaen Mahanakorn Co., Ltd. to carry out the construction work in Pattaya. The project is to enhance tourism infrastructure with a modern pier approximately 200 meters in length, including associated buildings and facilities.
According to the latest update, construction is progressing smoothly and on schedule. The project is expected to be completed by August 2027. Officials reported no significant obstacles at this stage.
Upon completion, the upgraded pier will feature a modern, durable, and robust design capable of supporting various maritime activities. It is intended to improve operational efficiency, better accommodate user needs, and contribute to the sustainable development of tourism on Koh Larn, one of Pattaya’s most popular island destinations.
This is expected to strengthen water transportation links between Pattaya mainland and Koh Larn, boosting the local economy while maintaining environmental standards for long-term tourism growth.
