Pattaya, Thailand The Police Administration Monitoring Committee (กต.ตร.) of Pattaya City Police Station held its regular April 2026 meeting to review recent activities and finalize preparations for a traditional Songkran celebration.
The meeting took place in the third-floor conference room at Pattaya City Police Station. Ms. Amporn Kaewsaeng, Chairperson of the Pattaya City Police Station Police Administration Monitoring Committee, presided over the session. She was joined by Pol. Col. Anek Sarathongyu, Chief of Pattaya City Police Station, Mr. Sukharaj Karnra, Vice Chairman of the committee, police officers, committee members, and other participants.

During the meeting, the committee summarized the successful outcomes of the recent “Charity Bowling Tournament” organized by the Pattaya City Police Station Police Administration Monitoring Committee on Saturday, March 21st, 2026. The event received strong support and enthusiastic participation from all sectors, resulting in a well-organized and successful activity.

The committee also discussed and prepared for an upcoming merit-making ceremony and water-pouring (rod nam dam hua) activity for the elderly, scheduled for Friday, April 17th, 2026, at Pattaya City Police Station. The event is to conserve and continue the beautiful Thai tradition of Songkran, promoting respect for elders and community harmony.

After the meeting concluded, committee members, police officers, and attendees joined in a warm and friendly celebration. They cut a cake and offered birthday wishes to Pol. Col. Anek Sarathongyu for his recent birthday, creating a pleasant and cordial atmosphere.
This community-focused Songkran activity on April 17th aligns with broader Songkran celebrations in Pattaya, which are set to include major events from April 17–19, 2026, blending both traditional Thai customs and festive fun while maintaining safety and order.
