Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramese Ngampichet assigned Mr. Siwat Bunkoet, Deputy City Clerk, to preside over the opening ceremony of the 2026 Lifelong Learning Education Project (Budget Year B.E. 2569) at 8:30 a.m. today.
The event took place in the Sea Horse Meeting Room at Bay Beach Resort in Jomtien. Ms. Boongam Lekcharoen, Director of the Education, Religion, and Culture Promotion Division, delivered the project report. Attendees included Mr. Chanyut Youngprida (a member of the Mayor’s working team), heads of departments from the Education Office, trainers, and participants.

Pattaya City’s Division of Non-Formal and Informal Education, under the Education Office, organized the two-day training program from April 9–10, 2026. The theme was “Digital Technology for Learning and Creative Media Production.”
The project is to enhance participants’ understanding of how to apply digital technology for self-directed learning. It also seeks to empower them to create high-quality digital media that can be effectively used in their daily lives.
A total of 80 participants joined the training. Experts from the Knowledge Management and Communication Research Center at Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, along with specialists from the private sector experienced in information and communication technology (ICT), served as trainers.

This represents another step by Pattaya City in promoting lifelong learning and preparing residents to thrive in the digital age. Officials hope participants will apply the acquired knowledge practically and efficiently in their everyday lives.
