Pattaya, Thailand – April 8th, 2026
Officers from the Pattaya Tourist Police demonstrated their commitment to visitor safety by assisting tourists in properly wearing life jackets before boarding boats to Koh Larn this morning at approximately 9:00 AM.
The officers actively helped tourists don life jackets as they prepared to depart for the popular island destination. They also took the opportunity to educate travelers on the benefits and importance of wearing life jackets throughout the entire water journey, hoping to enhance overall marine safety for all passengers.

This is part of ongoing efforts of the Pattaya Tourist Police to ensure safe and enjoyable experiences for both Thai and international visitors traveling by sea. Similar safety checks and assistance with life jackets are regularly conducted at piers serving routes to Koh Larn, especially during peak tourism periods. As Songkran, the Thai New Year and traditionally busiest travel period of the year approaches this weekend, the focus on safety is paramount.

For urgent assistance, tourists are encouraged to contact the Tourist Police hotline immediately at 1155, or use the Thailand Tourist Police Application (TPB APP) and the POLICE CARE Application.
