Pattaya, March 30th, 2026 – Police from Pattaya City Police Station were called to a disturbance on Walking Street after an unidentified foreign man became violent and aggressive following being roused from a drunken stupor.
At approximately 9:00 AM on March 30th, 2026, officers responded to reports of a foreign man acting erratically on Walking Street. Upon arrival, they found the man, believed to be aged 30–35, in a highly agitated and uncontrollable state. Local residents and good Samaritans had already managed to restrain him after he went on a rampage, chasing and attempting to assault both Thai locals and tourists in the area while reportedly screaming and shouting and threatening everyone around him, including terrified families heading to the nearby Bali Hai Pier for a day out to Koh Larn.

According to a Bolt ride-hailing driver who spoke to police, the incident began when he spotted the foreigner lying unconscious on the side of the road. Concerned that the man might be hit by passing vehicles, the driver stopped to wake him up. Instead of showing gratitude, the man suddenly became furious, began shouting abuse and curse words in English, and immediately attacked the driver and anyone nearby who tried to help. He then began threatening everyone around him in an uncontrolled rage.

Fearing for their safety, nearby residents stepped in to help control the man until police arrived to take him into custody.
Officers transported the foreigner back to Pattaya City Police Station to allow him to sober up and calm down. He will be charged according to Thai law for his actions. The man was described as extremely uncooperative and was seen struggling with officers and screaming and yelling threats to anyone nearby.

No serious injuries were reported among the victims, though the incident caused significant alarm among locals and tourists on the popular entertainment street.
The foreigner had no ID cards on him and was due to his state of pure rage and intoxication unable to identify himself or his nationality.
