Pattaya’s “Wan Lai” Festival Set for Massive 3-Day Beachfront Celebration! Water Fights, Sacred Water Pouring, Free Concerts, and Giant-Screen Football Cheer – All in One Epic Event
Pattaya is gearing up for one of its most anticipated festivals of the year , “Wan Lai Pattaya 2026”, a joyful blend of traditional Thai culture and modern entertainment that promises fun for everyone.
The City of Pattaya, together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Pattaya Office and Mono Streaming Co., Ltd., will host the “Songkran Wan Lai Pattaya” event from 17 to 19 April 2026 along Pattaya Beach. The festival is to boost tourism while preserving Thai traditions through a perfect mix of water play, cultural activities, and world-class live performances.
The entire stretch of Pattaya Beach will transform into a vibrant playground with two massive city stages offering non-stop entertainment. There will also be multiple smaller stages and DJs from other organizations and groups.
Main Stage 1 – “Pattaya Songkran Wan Lai 2026” – organised by TAT Pattaya Office and Mono Streaming, features the activity “Pattaya Splash & Cheer Giant Football”. Visitors can enjoy water fights right by the sea while watching free concerts by popular Gen Z and contemporary artists for three full days. The stage is located on Pattaya Beach, directly opposite Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya.
– 17 April: Tattoo Colour, Jeff Satur, 4EVE, and Ink Waruntorn
– 18 April: F.HERO, Lipta, New Country, THX, and Proxie
– 19 April: Maiyarap, Joey Boy, Indigo, Joey, and Phuwasit
Stage 2 – “Wan Lai Cultural Ground of Four Regions” – presented by the Chonburi Provincial Cultural Council, showcases authentic Thai heritage in full. Activities include cultural performances, the sacred water-pouring ceremony on Buddha images for blessings, exhibitions from 11 districts of Chonburi, two beautiful photo-check-in spots, and many highlight experiences such as:
– Giant pan stirring of “Kalamae” (Thai coconut caramel)
– Sale of traditional foods from all four regions of Thailand
– Daily cooking demonstrations of 5 local dishes with free tasting
– Sand pagoda building and Pattaya-style sand sculpting competition
– Traditional folk games like “Sao Noi Tok Nam” (young girl falls into water) and a sharpshooting arena
Additional attractions include a marketplace zone where vendors dress in distinctive Thai costumes and carry goods in hand-woven bamboo baskets, creating a nostalgic retro atmosphere, along with plenty of cultural product stalls.
