The atmosphere was full of excitement at Meeting Room 401 in Pattaya City Hall when Poramese Ngampiches, Mayor of Pattaya, along with the city’s executive team, warmly received the 77 contestants from across Thailand competing in Miss Grand Thailand 2026.
Representatives from Miss Grand International Public Company Limited escorted the contestants to meet the mayor for greetings and blessings ahead of their intensive training camp and various pageant activities taking place in Pattaya.
The meeting room buzzed with smiles and friendly interactions as each contestant from the 77 provinces introduced herself and engaged in close conversations with Pattaya’s administrators. The group posed for commemorative photos together, marking a heartfelt and official welcome from the host city. The warm reception left a strong positive impression on the contestants nationwide.
This visit forms part of the contestants’ pre-pageant training camp in Pattaya. During their stay, they will participate in a range of activities to experience the local culture, lifestyle, and world-class charm of this renowned tourist destination. The events also are to promote Pattaya’s image widely both domestically and internationally.
A part of the Pattaya-hosted activities will be the special “Miss Pattaya City Favorite” competition round on March 16, 2026, at Wyndham Jomtien Pattaya. This event provides an opportunity for the contestants to showcase their talents, personalities, abilities, and unique appeal in front of judges and pageant fans, while adding excitement to Pattaya’s tourism scene.
Mayor Poramese Ngampiches expressed great pleasure in welcoming the Miss Grand Thailand 2026 contestants to Pattaya. He reaffirmed the city’s full support for creative initiatives that enhance Pattaya’s image while stimulating the tourism economy.
“Beauty pageant events like this bring color, energy, and crowds of visitors to our city,” the mayor said.
