Pattaya Police Arrest Transgender Suspect in High-Profile Robbery of Korean Tourist and Assault on German Tourist in Pattaya

Pattaya, Chonburi

Thai police have successfully apprehended a transgender woman wanted in connection with a widely publicized robbery case involving a South Korean tourist in Pattaya, after she fled to hide in Bangkok. She was also reportedly an attacker in an assault on a German tourist the same night on Pattaya Beach.

The suspect, identified as Ratchaphum, or Fueang Fah, aged 20, was arrested on March 5th, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m. The operation was carried out by officers from Tourist Police Sub-Division 4, Region 2 together with investigators from the Immigration Police, Huai Yai Police Station, and additional Tourist Police units.

The arrest took place at a residence in Soi Prachauthit 9, Huai Khwang sub-district, Bangkok, where authorities had tracked the suspect after intelligence indicated she had escaped from the Pattaya area and was hiding there.

Upon verification, police confirmed that Ratchaphum was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court. She faces charges of robbery at night causing physical or mental harm to another person.

The incident dates back to an earlier event in which the South Korean tourist was befriended by a transgender woman before being robbed at a residence in Banglamung. The case gained significant attention online, with video clips and warnings circulating on social media, sparking widespread discussion and concern among tourists visiting Pattaya.

The suspect had also been reportedly a member of a gang of transgender women who the same night assaulted a German tourist on Pattaya Beach in this viral story.

The robbery heightened fears about safety in the popular resort city, prompting swift action from authorities to track down those responsible.

Following the arrest, the suspect was taken into custody and transferred to investigators at Huai Yai Police Station in Chonburi Province for further legal proceedings.

A different transgender suspect was arrested not long ago for a similar situation with a Chinese tourist in Pattaya that we covered here.

And yesterday in one of the most viral stories we have had in some time two naked transgender women chased an Indian man with a brick near Pattaya Beach after an alleged payment argument over escort services.
