Pattaya, Chonburi – March 5th, 2026: Early this morning, at approximately 5:06 a.m., a chaotic scene unfolded along Pattaya Beach Road near Soi 13/4 when two transgender women ran completely nude after an Indian tourist, loudly demanding payment for alleged sexual services and threatening him with a brick.

Eyewitnesses reported that the two individuals, in a state of full nudity, chased the foreign visitor while shouting profanities, accusing him of refusing to pay after receiving services. One grabbed a brick to intimidate him, and the pair surrounded the man in an attempt to force him to hand over money. The public disturbance caused significant alarm among bystanders, some of whom recorded parts of the incident on video as evidence.

Anuchart Kotmad, 59, a Pattaya municipal officer, intervened after noticing the pursuit. He stated to The Pattaya News that he observed the two transgender women, naked, chasing the Indian tourist, who claimed he had been assaulted and that they were demanding payment for companionship services that took place in a nearby hotel. To cover their bodies and prevent further indecency, the officer quickly obtained towels from nearby vendors and draped them over the women.

With the assistance of good Samaritans, the officer managed to calm the situation and prevent any physical harm to the tourist. After mediation, the matter was resolved peacefully: the tourist agreed to pay 1,000 baht to each of the two women. Both parties then went their separate ways.

Neither side wished to pursue legal action or file a police complaint. The tourist voluntarily paid the demanded amount, and the incident concluded on the spot without formal charges.

Authorities and locals noted that such public disturbances, particularly involving nudity and aggression in a major tourist area, severely damage Pattaya’s image as a safe and welcoming destination for visitors. It was unclear if any potential charges would be forthcoming for public nudity or potential prostitution charges, both illegal in Thailand but the latter often unenforced and a regulatory offense.
