Pattaya City Receives Prestigious Best Government E-Service Award at LINE Thailand Awards

Pattaya, Thailand, March 5th, 2026 Pattaya City Mayor Poramese Ngampichet received the Best Government E-Service award in the category recognizing outstanding development of e-Services on the LINE platform by a public sector agency. The award was presented by LINE Company (Thailand) Limited during the LINE Thailand Awards 2025.

Representing Pattaya City at the ceremony were Natthaphon Theerawutworawet, Director of the Strategy and Budget Office, along with relevant department heads and officials. They accepted the award on behalf of the city and presented it to Mayor Poramese to honor the achievement and boost morale for continued advancement in digital services for the public.

The Special Recognition award in the Government e-Service Award in Public Sector category was given to Pattaya City for its exceptional performance in developing and elevating public services to digital formats through the LINE Official Account “Pattaya Connect.” This platform allows residents to conveniently, quickly, and efficiently access information, news, and various services.

The judging criteria for the award included the ability to deliver widespread benefits to the public, increase convenience while reducing service procedures, shorten processing times, and appropriately apply digital technology to achieve tangible results.

The LINE Thailand Awards 2025 ceremony celebrates businesses, government agencies, and leading brands that have demonstrated outstanding results through the use of LINE platform solutions in areas such as marketing, communication, user experience creation, and technology development to drive organizational progress. This year, a total of 48 awards were presented across three main groups: Top Achievement, Special Recognition, and Best in Class.

This recognition shows Pattaya City’s strong commitment to advancing the national Digital Government policy, elevating public services to meet the needs of citizens in the digital era. It also reaffirms the city’s role as a local administrative organization that systematically applies technology to deliver transparent, efficient, and truly accessible services.

Pattaya City plans to continue developing Pattaya Connect to ensure residents receive the most convenient, modern, and highly effective services possible, aligning with the sustainable development of the city toward becoming a Smart City.
