Pattaya, Chonburi – March 4th, 2026 – Authorities have successfully apprehended the last remaining suspect in a daring armed home invasion robbery from a British man that saw thieves make off with over 2 million baht in cash from a safe, wrapping up the case within just over a week.

The incident occurred on February 26th as we reported here, when masked intruders dressed in black clothing and wielding knives broke into the residence of a British Chef in Chokchai Village 9 on Soi Khao Noi. The robbers forced open a secure safe and escaped with approximately 2,050,000 baht in cash, causing widespread concern among residents and impacting the area’s reputation as a safe tourist destination.

Following an intensive investigation, police had already arrested three British nationals earlier as we reported here: Jermaine, Michael, and Christopher. The breakthrough came on March 4th, when Pol Col Natthaphon Phong Suk Sakun, superintendent of Nong Prue Police Station, led a joint team including Pol Lt Col Thana Wisesachai, deputy investigation chief at Nong Prue, along with investigators from Chonburi Provincial Police, Immigration Police, and Tourist Police.

The operation culminated in the arrest of the fourth and final suspect: Mr. Brandon Tyler Garrett, 26, a British national. He was taken into custody at a luxurious residence at 47/31 Moo 4 in Banglamung under an arrest warrant issued by Pattaya Provincial Court No. 126/2569 dated February 28th, 2026. The charges include joint robbery with weapons and using a vehicle to commit the offense, transport stolen property, or evade arrest. Unlike the other three suspects who appeared to have fled the local area, with two caught trying to leave the country at Immigration including one who had made it all the way to the Malaysian land border, Brandon stayed in Pattaya despite the massive manhunt.

During the search of the premises, officers seized 260,660 baht in cash, bank straps from Kasikorn Bank, and clothing believed to have been worn during the crime as evidence.

Pol Col Natthaphon stated that the case was treated as a serious offense due to its impact on public confidence and the tourism image of the region. Authorities mobilized resources across multiple agencies for a comprehensive probe, utilizing CCTV footage, escape route analysis, and forensic evidence to track the suspects swiftly.

All four suspects, now in custody, are British nationals. The gang was dismantled in a remarkably short time thanks to proactive and coordinated police efforts. At least one suspect has confessed, say Pattaya police, leading to the discovery of the safe stolen in the crime here.

The arrested individuals have been handed over to investigators for legal proceedings. Efforts continue to recover the remaining stolen funds, totaling over 2 million baht, and to determine if any additional accomplices or supporters were involved.
