Banglamung – On March 4th, 2026, the Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality Local Rehabilitation Fund (กปท.), along with the Chonburi Provincial Rehabilitation Fund (กปจ. ชลบุรี), mobilized resources from all sectors to launch a project providing adult diapers to people suffering from urinary or fecal incontinence in the Takhian Tia community.
The program, part of the fiscal year 2026 budget, targets residents of Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality in Bang Lamung District. Mr. Mitchai Phakobtham, Mayor of Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality, led the effort alongside municipal executives, council members, department heads, the mayor’s working team, public health and environment officials, and representatives from the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization.

The group conducted home visits to deliver essential aid directly to patients, ensuring personalized support within the community.
Funded by the Chonburi Provincial Rehabilitation Fund and the Local Health Security Fund, the project wants to alleviate the financial burden on families caring for patients, people with disabilities, and the elderly. It also seeks to boost morale and provide emotional encouragement to those affected in the local area.

During this distribution round, the team delivered adult diapers to patients across Villages 1 through 5 in Takhian Tia Subdistrict. Additional daily necessities were provided, including Pampers (for related needs), eggs, and pumpkins sourced from local Takhian Tia gardens.
The program focuses in ongoing care for patients, people with disabilities, and senior citizens in the area. By reducing household expenses and improving overall quality of life, this promotes better living standards and stronger community well-being for vulnerable residents.
