Pattaya, Chonburi – February 28th, 2026 – A 48-year-old woman has publicly appealed to authorities and the media after her motorcycle was stolen, claiming that police have made no visible progress in the investigation more than five days after she filed a report.
Ms. Kulthida Kunpradit reported the incident to the Nong Prue Police Station on February 23rd, 2026. She provided CCTV footage from her rental accommodation as evidence, but says officers have yet to visit the scene or conduct further checks on the video.
The theft occurred around 2:00 p.m. that day in front of her room in Soi Boon Samphan 15, off of Khao Talo. Ms. Kulthida had ridden her Honda Wave 125 motorcycle (blue, license plate 1 กญ 5286 from Uttaradit) to a convenience store around noon and returned to park it outside her room. In her haste to rest, she left the key in the ignition without securing the vehicle.
When she went to use the motorcycle again two hours later, it was gone. A review of the accommodation’s CCTV showed an unfamiliar man wearing a long-sleeved yellow shirt and a face mask entering the area through the gate. He walked directly to the bike, noticed the key was still inserted, pushed it out, and quickly rode away.
After discovering the theft, Ms. Kulthida immediately contacted Nong Prue Police and submitted the CCTV evidence. Officers reportedly accepted the report and said an investigation team would follow up by inspecting the scene. However, as of February 28th, more than five days later, no officers had visited the location, leaving the victim increasingly worried that the trail could go cold.
Speaking to reporters, Ms. Kulthida expressed her frustration and concern that delays could make it harder to track the suspect and recover her vehicle. She urged police to expedite on-site investigations and follow up on leads from the CCTV footage to improve the chances of apprehending the thief.
She also called on the public for assistance: Anyone who spots a blue Honda Wave 125 with license plate 1 กญ 5286, or has any information about the incident, is asked to contact local police immediately. The goal, she said, is to recover the motorcycle and ensure the suspect faces legal consequences.
