A pickup truck transporting Myanmar migrant workers overturned in Sri Racha district, Chonburi province, on the morning of February 28, 2026, injuring 15 people.
The accident occurred around 7:00 a.m. on the parallel road to Motorway 7 (Section 2), inbound toward Chonburi, at kilometer 98 + 200, in Moo 1.
Rescue personnel from the Sawang Prateep Sri Racha Foundation were notified and dispatched to the scene along with emergency medical teams.

Upon arrival, they found a single-cab pickup truck with a roof canopy, license plate YTH 9980 Chonburi, lying on its side after flipping over. Approximately 20 Myanmar migrant workers were on board, with 15 sustaining injuries. The victims were scattered across the road, suffering from head wounds, abrasions to arms and legs, swelling, and pain.
Good Samaritans assisted by moving the injured to the roadside to clear traffic and aid those unaffected. Rescue workers provided initial first aid before transporting the injured to Somdet Phra Borom Ratchathewi Na Si Racha Hospital and Laem Chabang Hospital.
According to witnesses, the truck was already overturned when they arrived, causing them to alert emergency services, which responded quickly.

Through an interpreter, the Myanmar driver stated that he was transporting employees from a chicken processing factory. At the scene, another vehicle allegedly overtook and sideswiped his truck, causing him to swerve left toward the roadside in panic, resulting in the loss of control and rollover.
Authorities are investigating the exact cause, including potential contributing factors such as road conditions, vehicle speed, and the reported sideswipe. No fatalities were reported, and the injured are receiving medical treatment.
The name of the driver was initially withheld by police pending further investigation.
