Sriracha, Chonburi Province – On February 26th, 2026, Mrs. Phattharachanun Phongphat, Chief of Sriracha District, along with officials from the Sriracha District Public Health Office, sub-district administrators, security division heads, and members of the Sriracha District Red Cross Branch, visited a 14-year-old female student recovering at Somdet Phra Borom Ratchathewi Na Si Racha Hospital following her fall from a school building related to stress from a scam she fell victim to as we reported here.
The student, referred to only as “Miss A” (pseudonym), a 14-year-old volleyball athlete from a school in the Nong Kham Subdistrict of Sriracha District, fell from the building and sustained injuries. She is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. The delegation presented financial assistance from the Sriracha District Community Development Fund (PCho) and the local Red Cross Branch, along with care packages, and offered words of encouragement to the young girl.

Dr. Somyot Loetjindapong, Deputy Director of Somdet Phra Borom Ratchathewi Na Si Racha Hospital, welcomed the visitors.
According to the latest medical update, Miss A has a minor brain hemorrhage and various wounds on her body but is in stable condition with no life-threatening issues. She can communicate normally, shows good mental health, and exhibits no signs of stress or anxiety. She is expected to remain hospitalized for another two weeks. The Sriracha Public Health Office plans to conduct a follow-up home visit on Monday, March 2, 2026, to prepare the family for her continued recovery at home.

The incident has drawn attention due to its suspected link to a call center scam that targeted the teenager. Police investigators from Region 2 Provincial Police have made progress in the case. Authorities have successfully tracked down and arrested the owner of a “money mule” bank account used in the scam. The suspect has been transferred to Nong Kham Police Station, the jurisdiction where the school is located, for further questioning. Police are continuing their investigation to identify and apprehend additional members of the criminal network for legal action.

They have withheld the name of the suspect at this time as law enforcement feels it could put a further investigation into other accomplices at risk.
