The Father Ray Foundation is gearing up for its annual charity bowling event in Pattaya, marking the 23rd year of this popular fundraiser themed “Bowling Through the Blue” (also referred to as “23 ปีแห่งความรัก รักคุณพ่อเรย์” in Thai, translating to “23 Years of Love – In Honor of Father Ray”).
The event is scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at SF Strike Bowl Pattaya, a popular bowling venue in the city.
This charity bowling competition invites participants to join in a fun day of bowling while supporting the foundation’s mission to provide care, education, and opportunities for disadvantaged children, orphans, and individuals with disabilities. The event promotes inclusion, with photos from past editions showing participants including children in wheelchairs and supporters enjoying the activity together.
The Father Ray Foundation, founded in 1974 by the late American Redemptorist priest Father Raymond Brennan (commonly known as Father Ray), is a well-established Thai charity based in Pattaya. It cares for and educates approximately 850 underprivileged children and students with disabilities. Key programs include the Father Ray Children’s Village for orphaned and abandoned children (offering a family-like environment), schools for children with special needs, the Redemptorist Technological College for People with Disabilities, a day care center, and vocational training initiatives. The organization focuses on self-sufficiency through projects like agriculture and never turns away a needy child. Father Ray passed away in 2003, but his legacy continues through these efforts, supported by donations, volunteers, and community events.

The 23rd edition of the bowling fundraiser is part of the foundation’s long-standing tradition of community engagement and raising awareness about disability inclusion and support for vulnerable youth. Sponsors and partners visible in promotional materials include 7-Eleven, CPALL, Lions Clubs, and others.
