Huay Yai-
A 26-year-old woman from Prachinburi province escaped an alleged attempted rape by running naked from a forested area along a roadside near Pattaya, desperately shouting for help and declaring, “Help me, I’ve been raped.”
The incident took place around 8 p.m. on February 1st, 2026, near Huay Yai Road (Highway 331 – Ban Huay Yai), close to the Saen Mae Sakorn Shrine in Village No. 6. The location is a hilly stretch of road with little traffic.
A Facebook user live-streamed the rescue after spotting the woman fleeing in distress (Which also garnered some heavy criticism online as well, especially for an alleged victim of rape-Editor). She emerged from the roadside forest completely nude, screaming for assistance. Local residents quickly provided clothing to cover her. The victim, referred to only as “Miss K” (pseudonym), was in a state of extreme shock and fear.
Her Honda Wave 125 motorcycle from Prachinburi, was found parked nearby on the roadside.
The woman told police she had traveled from Prachinburi to Pattaya seeking work as a traditional Thai massage therapist in the Jomtien area. While using GPS on her mobile phone, she was reportedly followed and intercepted by a Thai suspect on a motorcycle. The man allegedly reached over to turn off her ignition key, causing the engine to stall, before forcibly dragging her into a nearby abandoned house close to the shrine. There, he allegedly overpowered her, removed her clothing, and attempted to sexually assault her.
During the attack, the woman pushed the attacker away, causing him to fall, and fled in terror, running out to the road to seek help from passing motorists.
Good Samaritans, including Jirayus Namphikul, 29, and Kritsada Phator, 32, who were driving home around 8:25 p.m., stopped to assist. They described seeing a black car ahead and the woman suddenly darting out from the roadside in a panic-stricken state, partially clothed on her upper body but otherwise nude. She pleaded, “Help me, brother, I’ve been raped,” and urgently asked to be taken away from the area, fearing the attacker might pursue her. The men provided clothing, allowed her to climb into the back of their pickup truck, said they live-streamed the incident only to call for more help, and contacted police.
The victim described the suspect as a middle-aged Thai man with a bald head, riding a blue Honda PCX motorcycle, heading toward the Huay Yai community.
Police from Huay Yai Police Station took the woman for detailed questioning and a thorough medical examination. As of February 3rd, 2026, she was summoned back for further interrogation at noon, followed by a meeting of the investigation team to expedite case resolution.
Reporters visiting the scene later that afternoon found an abandoned concrete house with a tin roof near the alleged crime location. A bamboo platform with a pillow was observed inside, and a discarded face mask was found outside.
No CCTV footage is available at the scene, and police continue to search for additional leads and the suspect. The investigation remains ongoing.
