Banglamung, Chonburi– A 35-year-old employee of PTT (PetroThailand) has reported the theft of his motorcycle from the company’s staff accommodation in the Ban Rong Pho area, urging police to expedite the investigation after clear CCTV footage captured the incident.
The victim, Mr. Lersak (surname withheld), contacted reporters from The Pattaya News on January 31st, 2026, around 3:00 a.m., to share details of the theft. He provided surveillance camera images showing the suspects and appealed for public assistance in identifying and locating the perpetrators.
According to Mr. Lersak, he parked his Honda Scoopy motorcycle, red and gray in color, bearing Chonburi license plate 5กง 5688, at his residence in PTT staff housing, Village No. 5, in the alley beside the Rong Pho Gas Depot at approximately 7:00 p.m. on January 30th, 2026, before retiring for the night.
The following morning, around 6:00 a.m., he discovered the vehicle missing. He immediately filed a police report with Pol. Lt. Col. Sitthawat Chawakorntherirat, Investigator at Banglamung Police Station, to serve as official documentation.
“The motorcycle was purchased with my own hard-earned money,” Mr. Lersak explained. “Now I’m facing serious difficulties because I have no transportation to get to work. I urge the police to track down and arrest the thieves as quickly as possible. If anyone has any information about the suspects or the whereabouts of the motorcycle, please contact Bang Lamung Police Station or reach out to me directly so the suspects can be brought to justice.”
The incident occurred within the secure PTT employee housing compound, showing ongoing concerns about vehicle thefts in the area. Authorities at Banglamung Police Station are reviewing the provided CCTV footage and investigating leads to identify the two suspects involved.
