Pattaya-
A small fire broke out at a popular beer bar in the heart of Pattaya on January 30th, 2026, causing panic but fortunately resulting in no injuries.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. when the Pattaya City Land Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Radio Center received a report of a blaze at a beer bar in Soi Buakhao.

Firefighters and Pattaya City Police officers rushed to the scene, where they found a three-story commercial building in a row of connected units in the bustling entertainment district.
Upon arrival, thick black smoke was seen billowing into the sky, alarming nearby residents and passersby.

Fire crews deployed hoses to contain the blaze, working for nearly 30 minutes to bring the fire under control. Afterward, they conducted a thorough clearance of the area to ensure no hotspots remained.
No one was reported injured in the incident.

A staff member at the bar, Ms. Phakawadee Prachabmon, told authorities that she and other employees were on the ground floor preparing to open for the evening when a motorcycle taxi driver alerted them to smoke pouring from the third floor. She attempted to check upstairs but was stopped due to safety concerns and immediately called emergency services.

The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation. Preliminary information suggests it originated on the third floor, currently used as a storage room. The area had recently undergone electrical disconnection, which may be relevant.
Pattaya City Police conducted an initial on-site inspection but have not yet determined the precise origin. They plan to coordinate with the Forensic Science Office Region 2 (Chonburi) for a detailed examination to establish the true cause.

The quick response by emergency services prevented the fire from engulfing the entire building, averting what could have been a major disaster in one of Pattaya’s busy nightlife areas. Authorities continue to urge property owners to maintain electrical systems and fire safety measures in entertainment venues.
