Pattaya-
A Thai woman who enjoys fishing as a hobby was left shocked and alarmed after encountering a foreign man who stripped naked in front of her while she was fishing at a popular spot in Pattaya.
The incident was shared by Ms. Sureesri Ruangsooksut, 34, known online as “Aunt Sureesri Ruangsooksut,” who posted a video clip on her personal Facebook account on the morning of January 26th, 2026. In her post, she described the moment a foreign man approached, removed his clothing as if preparing to enter the water, and then walked away completely nude despite her intervention.

According to Ms. Sureesri, a boat driver and ride-hailing driver by profession, she frequently visits the fishing spot in Soi Phratamnak at the Cozy Beach area (Phra Tamnak Soi 4), a well-known area among local anglers, after finishing work. On the morning of January 26th, while standing and fishing near the rocks, she noticed the foreign man walking toward the rocky area. He proceeded to take off his clothes, appearing ready to swim or play in the water.
When she turned and saw him, she spoke to him in English, urging him to put his clothes back on and not behave that way. Instead of complying, the man reportedly turned toward her, gave a thumbs-up gesture with a nonchalant expression, and continued walking away fully naked along the shoreline before disappearing from view.

Shocked by the encounter, Ms. Sureesri grabbed her phone to record the incident as evidence. Later, when she returned to the area, she saw the same man again, this time wearing pants. She spoke to other fellow anglers nearby, who unanimously said that this particular foreign individual has exhibited similar behavior on multiple occasions.
In her Facebook post, Ms. Sureesri expressed her dismay, writing that she initially pointed at him directly and told him to put his boxer shorts back on and stop the behavior, but he acted oblivious and simply gave a thumbs-up before walking off. She added that the experience nearly made her “burst” with frustration.

The video and post quickly gained significant attention, with many commenters expressing surprise and concern over the man’s actions in a public area frequented by locals and visitors.
Ms. Sureesri later spoke to The Pattaya News reporters around 3:00 a.m. on January 27th, 2026, reiterating the details and appealing for the public to stay vigilant. She urged fellow residents and visitors to keep an eye out and prevent similar incidents from recurring, stating that such behavior is inappropriate and could affect the image of tourism in the area.
