Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation Hosts 2026 New Year Party to Boost Morale of Rescue Workers, Over 17,847 Cases Assisted in 2025

Pattaya, Thailand-(January 17th, 2026) – The Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation in Pattaya city organized its annual New Year 2026 gathering to develop camaraderie and provide encouragement to its dedicated staff and volunteer rescue workers.

The event took place at the foundation’s premises, led by Mr. Prasit Thongthitcharoen, President of the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Unit in Pattaya, together with the foundation’s board of directors.

The celebration was honored by the presence of Mr. Poramese Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, who presided over the ceremony. Distinguished guests included Mr. Natthawat Sophonsewasil, Chief District Officer of Bang Lamung; Mr. Nakorn Phol Luk In, Member of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization; Mr. Chaowalit Saenguthai, Candidate for Member of Parliament from Chonburi Province (Bhumjaithai Party); Ms. Jidapa Suwatthaphorn, Pattaya City Council Member; as well as numerous rescue officers, volunteers, and foundation personnel. The atmosphere was warm and heartfelt as everyone came together.

Mr. Prasit Thongthitcharoen explained that the annual New Year party is a longstanding tradition for strengthening bonds within the organization and boosting morale among employees and volunteers. These individuals have tirelessly and selflessly served the community throughout the past year.

In the past 12 months, the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Unit responded to a remarkable 17,847 cases averaging more than 1,400 cases per month. Additional services included transporting over 600 deceased individuals to forensic institutes, repatriating more than 70 bodies to their hometowns, and conducting 136 basic life support (CPR) training sessions through the foundation’s learning center, with over 20,000 participants trained.

To express gratitude and motivate the hardworking rescuers, the foundation hosted the festive dinner and awarded prizes to lucky participants. After the award ceremony, honored guests joined in a lucky draw featuring an array of attractive prizes, including televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, fans, gift baskets, and cash rewards.

The evening was filled with fun, laughter, and smiles, leaving a lasting impression of warmth and appreciation on all who attended.

The Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation continues to serve as a pillar of emergency response and humanitarian aid in Pattaya, demonstrating dedication that extends far beyond the call of duty.
