Deputy Commander of Thailand 2nd Army Region Visits Soldiers Wounded in Thai-Cambodian Border Clash

Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand– Major General Nat Sri-in, Deputy Commander of the Royal Thai Army’s 2nd Army Region, on Thursday visited soldiers wounded during recent combat operations along the Thai-Cambodian border who are now receiving treatment at Suranaree Army Hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima province.

The visit was intended to monitor the condition of the injured troops, convey the concern and appreciation of the army’s senior leadership, and boost the morale of the wounded soldiers and their families.

During the visit, Maj. Gen. Nat personally spoke with each injured soldier, inquiring in detail about their injuries and medical progress. He praised their courage and selfless sacrifice in defending Thailand’s sovereignty, and instructed the hospital’s medical staff to provide the highest standard of care.

Despite their physical wounds, the soldiers displayed strong morale and determination. Every soldier expressed eagerness to return to duty as soon as they recover, with several reportedly saying in unison, “We want to heal quickly and go back to support our brothers on the front line.” Their statements showed the unwavering patriotic spirit of Thailand’s armed forces.

Military operations along the disputed border area remain intense. The 2nd Army Region reaffirmed its commitment to provide comprehensive medical care, welfare support, and assistance to both the wounded personnel and their families.
