Pattaya, December 9th 2025– A white Toyota Vios sedan plowed through a residential fence and slammed into a house in the Nong Prue sub-district early Tuesday morning, causing a concrete wall to collapse and seriously injure the homeowner who was trapped inside the bathroom.

The accident occurred at approximately 07:06 at house number 50/144, Moo 5 in the Rung Rueang Village on Soi 4. Rescue teams from Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation and Nongprue Police rushed to the scene after receiving reports that people were trapped under fallen debris.

Rescuers found the car embedded in the front of the two-storey house. The male driver, whose identity has not yet been released by law enforcement, was trapped in the wreckage and appeared dazed. He told officers he “blacked out” and could not remember what happened.

Inside the house, three people were injured. Two family members sustained minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital immediately. The third victim, the homeowner’s wife, was buried under collapsed concrete while showering in the bathroom. Rescue workers used hydraulic cutting tools in a difficult operation to free her before rushing her to the hospital in serious condition.

Homeowner Mr. Wirote Boonbamrung, 44, described the terrifying moments to The Pattaya News team:
“I woke up to take my daughter to school and was waiting for my wife to finish showering when I heard a tremendous crash. I ran to the front door but couldn’t open it because the car had rammed right across it.”

Mr. Wirote said his mother-in-law and daughter were also injured in the incident, while his wife remained trapped longest under the bathroom rubble. He was uninjured.

Police have taken the driver for alcohol and drug testing and are examining nearby CCTV footage to determine the exact cause of the crash. The damaged house and vehicle have been secured, and an investigation is ongoing.
