Pattaya, December 6th, 2025 – Pattaya City has announced the temporary closure of Chalerm Phrakiat Soi 2 for asphalt concrete resurfacing work, scheduled for the nights of Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 December 2025.
The improvement project, assigned to Mongkol Construction Co., Ltd., aims to enhance road quality and increase safety for motorists and residents. Work will be carried out during the following hours to minimise daytime disruption:
– Monday, 8 December 2025: 20:00 – 05:00
– Tuesday, 9 December 2025: 20:00 – 05:00
During these periods, the road will be fully closed to traffic while new asphalt is laid.

To facilitate the work and ensure safety, Pattaya City authorities have urged residents and vehicle owners in the area to:
– Clearly display a contact telephone number on their parked vehicles so staff can reach owners quickly if vehicles need to be moved.
– Remove any objects or belongings that may obstruct the road in front of their homes to allow machinery and workers unobstructed access.
Pattaya City apologises in advance for any inconvenience caused by the overnight roadworks and expressed gratitude for the public’s cooperation.
“This resurfacing project is part of our ongoing commitment to upgrade infrastructure, improve road safety, and enhance the quality of life for everyone in Pattaya,” a city spokesperson said.

Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes during the specified hours.
