Banglamung, Chonburi – December 5th, 2025
A 19-year-old security guard has been arrested for stealing more than 120 pieces of steel boiler parts from the paper factory where he was employed, police in Chonburi province announced today.
The suspect, identified as Mr. Phatchara Kritdee, 19, was taken into custody at the scene of the crime – Jin Jong Fa Paper Industry Co., Ltd., located at 149 Moo 2 in the Takhian Tia sub-district.

Police Col. Sarawut Nuchanart, chief of Bang Lamung Police Station, ordered an investigation team led by Pol. Lt. Col. Yongyuth Wanneua and Pol. Lt. Col. Wutthiphong Kasa to follow up on a theft report filed by the factory.
CCTV footage clearly captured the thief in the act, revealing that the suspect was one of the company’s own night-shift security guards.

Officers quickly tracked down and arrested Mr. Phatchara at the factory premises. Recovered items included:
– 121 boiler components
– One fertiliser sack (used to carry the stolen items)
– One security-guard uniform shirt (worn during the theft)
– One pair of black long trousers (worn during the theft)
– One Honda Wave 110 motorcycle, white-and-red used to transport the stolen property

The suspect has been charged with night-time theft in a dwelling or premises and using a vehicle to facilitate the offence or to carry away the stolen property.
After the arrest, police brought the suspect and all seized evidence to Banglamung Police Station for further legal proceedings.
