PATTAYA, Chonburi – A 26-year-old woman’s vacation in Pattaya turned into a nightmare on Thursday night when two men on a motorcycle stole her suitcase containing clothes and luxury brand-name bags worth more than 30,000 baht.
Ms. Wachirayan Thaworn filed a police report at Pattaya City Police Station at around 10 p.m. on December 4th, 2025, after the theft occurred in front of a beauty salon on Thepprasit Road.
According to the victim, she and a friend had come to Pattaya for a short holiday and planned to continue travelling to another province. While getting her hair done at the salon, which was crowded with customers, she left her suitcase outside the shop to avoid taking up space inside.

The entire styling session took less than 30 minutes. When she stepped out, the suitcase had vanished.
Security camera footage later revealed the crime: two men riding a black Honda PCX scooter pulled up in front of the salon. The pillion rider, wearing three-quarter-length pants and an orange shirt, quickly got off, grabbed the suitcase, loaded it onto the bike, and the pair sped away.
Ms. Wachirayan urged police to track down the culprits as soon as possible, expressing concern that the thieves may target other tourists or residents using the same modus operandi.

Police are reviewing additional CCTV footage in the area and have launched an investigation to identify and arrest the suspects.
