Pattaya, December 3rd, 2025 – Two of Pattaya’s Deputy Mayors made their first public appearance together yesterday morning, joining senior citizens for an engaging and heartfelt session at City Hall as part of the ongoing “Pattaya Happy Aging School – Batch 4.”
At 09:30 on 2 December 2025, Deputy Mayor Wutthisak Rermkijakarn and newly sworn-in Deputy Mayor Damrongkiat Pinijkarn, accompanied by the Mayor’s secretariat team, visited participants of the elderly training program at the Thapphraya Meeting Room at Pattaya City Hall.

Deputy Mayor Wutthisak took the opportunity to formally introduce his new colleague, Damrongkiat Pinijkarn, who was officially appointed to the position just one day earlier on the 1st of December 2025. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and filled with smiles as the seniors welcomed the city’s new leadership.
The visit coincided with a full-day practical workshop titled “Cyber Seniors: The Art of Photography and Basic Photo-Editing Apps,” organized by the Health Promotion Division under Pattaya’s Public Health and Environment Department, with expert instructors from Mahidol University.

Throughout the day, more than 100 elderly participants learned essential digital skills including:
– Using Line to create personal stickers
– Taking online quizzes via Google Forms
– Basic mobile photography techniques
– Simple mindfulness and physical recreation games
– Light exercise routines set to music
The session ended with reflection activities and post-training evaluations through Google Forms.
The “Pattaya Happy Aging School” program adopts a holistic health approach covering physical, mental, social, and intellectual well-being. It wants to equip seniors with practical modern skills, build social connections, and help them adapt confidently to today’s fast-changing digital world.

Lt. Col. Female Laphassarin Satharakul, Director of the Health Promotion Division, thanked both Deputy Mayors for their support and added that such initiatives reflect Pattaya’s strong commitment to building an age-friendly city where seniors can live active, dignified, and joyful lives.
The two Deputy Mayors expressed their delight at the enthusiasm shown by participants and pledged continued city support for programs that enhance the quality of life for Pattaya’s growing elderly population.
