Banglamung, December 3rd, 2025 – Acting on public tips received through the anti-drug Line account “หักดิบ บางละมุง BROKEN DOWN BANGLAMUNG”, a joint task force of Banglamung District administration officials and police arrested two suspected mid-level drug dealers in separate sting operations on the night of December 2nd, 2025.

The operation was led by Banglamung District Chief Patcharapat Sritanyanon, together with senior district officers Wanchai Wanlapram and Kamphai Laosarn, the district’s special anti-drug unit, Nongprue Police Station, and Pattaya Police Station.

First Arrest – “Tom” Dealer Caught in Daily Rental Room
Undercover officers arranged a 1,000-baht purchase of crystal methamphetamine (“ice”) from Ms. Aphiradee Tojampa, 27 (known locally as a “tom”), at a short-stay rental room in Soi Kao Pai. When the deal was completed, the raid team stormed in and arrested the suspect along with her girlfriend and two other women who were in the room.

Seized items:
– 3.82 g of crystal methamphetamine
– 9 methamphetamine (yaba) tablets (in 5 small ziplock bags)
– Drug paraphernalia
– The marked 1,000-baht buy money

Urine tests on all four women returned positive (purple).

Second Arrest – Sukhothai Dealer Traced Through Confession
During interrogation, the first suspect identified her supplier as Mr. Thanaphon Suraphotha, 24, from Sukhothai province. Officers immediately set up a second sting using an attractive female undercover agent who arranged to buy 1,000 baht worth of ice.

Thanaphon agreed to meet at a rental room in Soi Phonpraphanimit 7 in Nongprue. Plain-clothes officers posing as motorcycle-taxi drivers dropped off the agent. Fifteen minutes later, after the transaction, the arrest team moved in.

Items seized at the meeting room:
– 22 yaba tablets
– 3.07 g and 0.72 g of crystal methamphetamine (two separate bags)
– Drug paraphernalia
– Marked buy money

The suspect then admitted to hiding more drugs at his regular apartment in Soi Siam Country Club. A follow-up search of Room 140, 1st floor, uncovered a purple cartoon-pattern metal box containing an additional 0.44 g of ice, 20 yaba tablets, and more paraphernalia.

Both suspects have been charged with possession with intent to distribute Category 1 narcotics. They were transferred to the respective police stations (Nongprue and Pattaya) for legal proceedings, while investigators continue to pursue the wider network.

District Chief Patcharapat praised the public for their courage in reporting via the “Broken Down Banglamung” Line channel, stating: “Community tips are our most powerful weapon against drugs. We will act on every credible lead, day or night.”
