The spirit of compassion in Sriracha remains strong as local residents continue to give donations to aid victims of severe flooding in southern Thailand.
Sriracha City Municipality has opened a donation center to collect essential items for people affected by ongoing floods across several southern provinces. Hundreds of residents have responded generously, contributing large quantities of relief supplies, including:
– More than 3,000 packs of drinking water
– Canned fish
– Instant noodles
– Rice
– Medicine and medical supplies
The donations are intended for affected communities and evacuation centers in the south.

Sriracha Mayor Mr. Chatchai Timkrachang, along with municipal executives, city council members, and the Sriracha Women’s Power Group, were present to receive the contributions and oversee the relief effort.

On Monday, a large truck loaded with donated goods departed Sriracha bound for Phawong Subdistrict Municipality in Mueang Songkhla District, one of the hardest-hit areas. Local authorities in Phawong will manage the distribution of aid directly to flood victims and temporary shelters.

Mayor Chatchai thanked the people of Sriracha for their kindness and solidarity, stating, “This outpouring of support shows the strong sense of community and willingness to help fellow Thais in times of crisis.”

Donations continue to be accepted at Sriracha City Hall as flooding persists in several southern provinces.
