From Pattaya to the South Program Launched as Pattaya Police Station Community Relations Committee Invites YOU to Help Flood Victims

PATTAYA, Thailand – In a show of solidarity, the Pattaya City Police Station’s Community Relations Committee (กต.ตร.สภ.เมืองพัทยา) has joined forces with police officers, volunteer auxiliaries, and local businesses to launch a four-day donation drive for southern Thailand’s flood victims.

The collection point was officially opened today in front of GO WHOLESALE on Sukhumvit Road in South Pattaya, marking the start of an initiative titled “From Pattaya to the South.”

Ms. Amphon Kaewsaeng, Chairperson of the Community Relations Committee at Pattaya City Police Station, led the opening ceremony alongside Pol. Lt. Col. Suchart Dusadee, Chief of Pattaya Police Station’s Patrol and Special Operations Division, committee members, volunteer police officers, and representatives from the city’s business community.

Speaking at the launch, Ms. Amphon explained that the drive is a team effort between the committee, Pattaya police, volunteer officers, and local entrepreneurs to gather essential supplies for communities across several southern provinces currently battling severe flooding.

“We are appealing especially for rice, dried food, drinking water, daily necessities, emergency relief items, and pet food,” she said.
The donation point will remain open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the next four days. All collected items will then be sorted, packed into survival kits, and delivered directly to affected areas in southern Thailand.

“Every single donation matters,” Ms. Amphon emphasized. “No contribution is too small. These items will be passed on to our brothers and sisters in the South who are facing tremendous hardship right now.”

She extended an open invitation to residents, tourists, government agencies, and businesses to join the effort, adding:
“A little kindness from each of us can save lives and restore hope for flood victims.”

The initiative reflects Pattaya’s strong community spirit, with people from all walks of life coming together to support fellow Thais in their time of need.
