Pattaya Politician Nong Worapot Phongphalee Celebrates Birthday with Major Medical Equipment Donation and Feast for Healthcare Heroes

Pattaya, November 24th, 2025 – Mr. Worapot Phongphalee, popularly known as “S.J. Nong,” Chonburi Provincial Councilor for Banglamung District, marked his birthday in the most meaningful way possible by hosting a large merit-making event at Pattaya City Hospital (Patthamakhun Hospital) and donating a full set of life-saving medical and rescue equipment to the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Foundation (Pattaya Central Unit).

Joined by his family and close friends, Mr. Worapot turned his birthday into a day of giving back, aiming to support frontline medical workers and boost morale among staff and patients. The event featured a generous spread of food, including boat noodles, pad Thai, roti, chicken rice, and an array of bakery items, served to doctors, nurses, hospital staff, patients, and visitors. The hospital courtyard was filled with warmth, smiles, and gratitude throughout the morning.

The highlight of the celebration was the presentation of a comprehensive package of critical emergency equipment to the Pattaya-based Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team. The donated items, described as a complete emergency-response kit, included:

1. Pulse and heart-rate monitors
2. Standard spine boards
3. Flat patient-transfer sheets
4. Specialized backboards and splints
5. Portable oxygen tanks
6. Full set of four vacuum splints
7. Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
8. A fully equipped second-hand rescue pickup truck ready for immediate deployment

Rescue foundation representatives stated that the new equipment and vehicle will significantly enhance their ability to respond to emergencies across Pattaya, helping save more lives among both residents and the millions of tourists who visit the city each year.

Mr. Worapot expressed his happiness at being able to give back to the community that has supported him, saying the donations were a small token of appreciation for the tireless work of medical and rescue personnel who are on duty 24/7.

Hospital staff and rescue volunteers warmly thanked the Phongphalee family and friends for their generosity, noting that such support provides not only vital tools but also much-needed encouragement to those on the front lines of emergency care.
