Sri Racha, Chonburi

Dashcam and CCTV footage has revealed the terrifying moment two middle-school brothers riding a motorcycle to school crashed into the rear of a stationary SUV during morning rush hour, then skidded across the road and collided head-on with an oncoming motorcycle, leaving all three riders injured.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:00 a.m. on the Nong Kho Reservoir Ring Road (Nong Kho–Khao Chee Junction route) in the Nong Kham sub-district.

Rescue teams from Pure Yeang Tai Sri Racha Foundation, Nong Kham Police Station, and emergency medical staff from Laem Chabang Hospital rushed to the scene.

At the site, rescuers found:
– A red Isuzu MU-X stopped in the inbound lane, driven by Ms. Chanan Tancharoen, 45, who was taking her child to school.
– A white Honda Scoopy i (registration unknown) lying in roadside grass with two male secondary school students (brothers, aged approximately 14–15) unconscious and covered in abrasions.
– A white Honda PCX overturned on the opposite side of the road. Its unidentified female rider was also seriously injured.

All three injured individuals were given first aid on site before being transported to hospital. Relatives of the student brothers arrived shortly afterward, visibly distraught and in tears.

CCTV footage shows heavy morning traffic as parents and workers headed to schools and workplaces. The Isuzu MU-X was slowing behind other vehicles when the brothers’ Honda Scoopy, traveling at high speed and only 500 meters from their school, clipped the right-rear corner of the SUV. The impact sent the Scoopy veering across the median into the opposite lane, narrowly missing a sedan before smashing head-on into the Honda PCX ridden by the young woman in the far-left lane.

Ms. Chanan Tancharoen, still shaking from shock but not injured, told The Pattaya News reporters:
“I was driving slowly, following the car in front. The vehicle ahead slowed to turn left and park, so I braked gently. Suddenly I felt a bump at the back – the motorcycle hit me slightly and then shot across the road into the oncoming bike. I’ve never experienced anything like this. I’m extremely shaken and very worried about the injured riders.”

Police are reviewing CCTV and dashcam evidence, have documented the scene, and will proceed with legal action once the investigation is complete. The three injured remain under medical care.

This comes just roughly a week after two other young students died going to school in Sri Racha, as we reported here.
